Policy to Legislation seminar
Registrations are now open for the Policy to Legislation seminar. The seminar will be held on Thursday 7 March, from 9.30 – 11.30 a.m, in the Legislative Council Chamber in Parliament House.
The seminar is for public sector personnel from legal and policy teams who are new to the process of developing legislation.
Topics include an introduction to the legislative process, the drafting process for Government bills, procedures in the House of Representatives and select committee processes.
The seminar will be hosted by the Office of the Clerk of the House of Representatives in association with the Parliamentary Counsel Office.
Registrations will close on Monday 4 March at 5.00 p.m. However, places are limited and, as in previous years, registrations may close sooner. Please register on the link provided on this page.
