Sign language interpretation to be broadcast on Parliament TV – 5 and 6 May

To mark New Zealand Sign Language Week, Parliament TV will broadcast with sign language interpretation from 2 to 6 pm on 5 and 6 May.

Two interpreters will work in turns to provide the interpretation. It will be broadcast as an inset in the corner of the screen of the regular broadcast.

Anyone visiting the galleries of the Debating Chamber during this period will be able to see the sign language interpretation on screens installed in the Press Gallery.

The replays of question time at 6 and 10 pm will also include the sign language interpretation.

Parliament TV can be viewed as a webcast and on television on Freeview 22, Sky 94 and TelstraClear 94.
