Register of Pecuniary Interests of Members of Parliament: Summary of additional returns received in 2009

The annual returns of members of Parliament are published separately in summary as parliamentary paper J.7. That booklet contains only the returns of those who were members at the time of publishing and who were members as at 31 January. However, the Registrar of Pecuniary Interests of Members of Parliament is required to publish on the website a summary of all returns received. These additional returns are initial returns of new members sworn in after 31 January and who are required, pursuant to clause 2 of Appendix B of the Standing Orders, to make an initial return before the next round of annual returns.
