Hon Paula Bennett (Minister for Social Development) replied: I am advised that the Ministry of Social Development staff who are involved with Exercise Barrier 2012 perform a variety of other tasks within the Ministry. These staff do not track the proportion of their time that they spend on this work. There is also no specific budget allocated to the Ministry’s participation in Exercise Barrier 2012. For this reason I am not able to answer your question regarding the projected budget for Exercise Barrier 2012.
