Dr Jackie Blue to the Associate Minister of Health (03 Jul 2008): Further to then reply to written question 8308 (2003) how much has the Ministry of Health spent on organ donation public awareness for each of the past five years; are there plans are there for a public awareness programme and if so when is this likely to happen and what is the budget and the time-line?
Hon Mita Ririnui (Associate Minister of Health) replied: No Ministy of Health money has been spent on organ donation public awareness in the past five financial years, and here are no Ministry of Health plans for a public awareness campaign.
