985 (2010). Keith Locke to the Minister for Food Safety (10 Feb 2010): How many times over the past two years, in accord with legislation governing their activities, have animal product officers under warrant entered and searched any place and in the process accessed and copied material on a computer or computers located in the premises; and how many prosecutions have resulted?
Hon Kate Wilkinson (Minister for Food Safety) replied: Over the last two years there have been three instances where Animal Products Act officers have executed search warrants and in the process accessed and copied material on a computer or computers located in the premises. The investigations relating to these instances have yet to be concluded; therefore no prosecutions have resulted to date.
