3900 (2012). Julie Anne Genter to the Minister of Transport (09 May 2012): Further to the reply to question for written answer 3128 (2012), does the traffic volume scenario in 2022 in the Waterview Connection business case take into account future fuel prices; if so, how?
Hon Gerry Brownlee (Minister of Transport) replied: The traffic volume scenario in the Waterview Connection Road of National Significance business case uses census years such as 2016 and 2026. However, a fuel price for 2022 is taken into account as the generated economic benefits for intervening years are estimated for the years between 2016 and 2026.
