2133 (2010). Keith Locke to the Minister of Internal Affairs (12 Mar 2010): How many times over the past two years, in accord with the Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act 2007, have enforcement officers under warrant entered and searched any place to inspect and then copy any documents in electronic form; and how many prosecutions have resulted?
Hon Nathan Guy (Minister of Internal Affairs) replied: The Department of Internal Affairs advises me that five search warrants under the Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act 2007 have been executed in the period 16 March 2008 to 15 March 2010, where enforcement officers under warrant entered and searched any place to inspect and then copy documents in electronic form. Investigations are ongoing in relation to some of these matters and no prosecutions have resulted to date.
