2448 (2010). Hon Trevor Mallard to the Minister of Education (18 Mar 2010): Was her Ministry consulted before the School Trustees Association wrote to Boards in relation to the implementation of national standards, and if so what input did they provide?
Hon Anne Tolley (Minister of Education) replied: I am advised that the Ministry of Education was not consulted. The New Zealand School Trustees Association (NZSTA) is a national organisation which represents school boards of trustees’ views through the President and National Board, NZSTA National Council and NZSTA Regions, and provides services to member boards of trustees independent of the Ministry of Education.
