2358 (2010). Su'a William Sio to the Minister of Customs (17 Mar 2010): What is the practical nature of any relationship that the New Zealand Customs Service may have with the New Zealand Police?
Hon Maurice Williamson (Minister of Customs) replied: The New Zealand Customs Service and the New Zealand Police work together daily at all levels on both operational and strategic/policy matters. The New Zealand Customs Service and the New Zealand Police share an enduring tradition of close cooperation and active joint participation in areas of common interest or joint responsibility.
