964 (2010). Lynne Pillay to the Minister of Police (includes responsibility for Serious Fraud Office) (09 Feb 2010): How many complaints, if any, have Police received in 2009 concerning Police officers trying to dissuade a victim of a sexual crime from pursuing charges against the offender and for each complaint, was the complaint laid by the victim, a family member or another party and in which Police region did the crime occur?
Hon Judith Collins (Minister of Police (includes responsibility for Serious Fraud Office)) replied: I have been advised that Police do not collect information in a way that would enable this question to be answered.
