2440 (2010). Hon Trevor Mallard to the Minister of Education (18 Mar 2010): Do parents have the right to withdraw their children from the tests which lead to national standards and if so how do they do this?
Hon Anne Tolley (Minister of Education) replied: Assessment in relation to National Standards is through teachers’ professional judgement, not testing.
