The business statement is an informal indication of the business the Government intends to place before the House. The statement is usually delivered by the Leader of the House when the House sits on a Thursday.

Hon Anne Tolley, Deputy Leader of the House, made the following statement relating to the business of the House:

When the House resumes on Tuesday 8 May the Government will look to progress a number of first readings on the order paper, including the International Finance Agreements Amendment Bill and the Child Support Amendment Bill.

Wednesday is a Members’ day.
