Wild Animal Control (Increased Fines and Sentence of Imprisonment) Amendment Bill

The purpose of the bill is to increase the financial penalties for offences against the Wild Animal Control Act 1977 or any regulations made under that Act, and to introduce the option of a sentence of imprisonment for second or subsequent offences to help the Police in dealing with unlawful hunting of wild animals.
