Petition of Mani Maniparathy and 37 others
Requesting that the New Zealand Parliament follow the lead of the United Nations, several Governments and NGOs (such as Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch) and call on the Sri Lankan Government to immediately allow freedom of movement for the 280,000 Tamil people who continue to be incarcerated in appalling conditions in military detention camps in northern Sri Lanka.
