Requesting that the House of Representatives urge the New Zealand Government to address climate change through setting a target, to be reached as soon as possible, for greenhouse gases in the atmosphere to be no more than 350 parts per million of CO2 equivalents, as the basis for New Zealand policy in legislation and international negotiations; taking into account the latest scientific research, working in a spirit of partnership with New Zealand communities and other countries.
