This bill enables the current regulated price formula for raw milk supplied under the Dairy Industry Restructuring (Raw Milk) Regulations 2001 to be replaced with the Fonterra farm gate milk price (this is the milk component of the Fonterra payout) plus a seasonal margin of ten cents per kilogram of milk solids. This bill also provides for regulations that would allow an auction system for regulated milk to be introduced at a future date.

The committee requires 2 copies of each submission if made in writing.
