Parliamentary Service

The Parliamentary Service was established in 1985 to provide services to members of Parliament and the House of Representatives, and to administer Parliament's buildings and grounds.

The Parliamentary Service is the largest of the agencies housed in the parliamentary complex. The Service employs approximately 430 staff as well as another 220 people employed as out-of-Parliament staff in the regions. About
