What we do

The Parliamentary Service provides a range of professional administrative and support services to members of Parliament and the House of Representatives. It also looks after the parliamentary complex buildings and the administration associated with their management and maintenance.

Our legal status

The Parliamentary Service was established by the Parliamentary Service Act 1985 and continues under the provisions of the Parliamentary Service Act 2000.
