Features for visually impaired users
This site is structured to be compatible with screen readers.
You can also change the font style and font size to suit your visual preferences.
We do not endorse or support any particular browsers, but we have tested our site with Firefox 1.x (Windows), Internet Explorer 5, 5.5, 6 (Windows) 5.2 (Mac); Safari 1.x (Mac) and Netscape 7.1 (Windows). Our aim is to limit browser-specific features as far as possible.
Barriers to accessibility
Some of the documents on our site are only available in pdf format. Some pdf format documents are not created by New Zealand Parliament but we are required to publish them. Some pdf format documents are old content transferred from our earlier websites. If you find content you can not access, please contact us. We may be able to provide you with an alternative format.
