Take part in the Constitution Conversation

The Constitutional Advisory Panel has launched a new website to encourage all New Zealanders to be part of the Constitution Conversation. The Panel is seeking submissions from the public about New Zealand’s constitutional arrangements to inform the report it will present to Ministers at the end of 2013.

The new site will enable the public to:

  • Download resources and find out about key topics such as the New Zealand Bill of Rights Act, the Treaty of Waitangi and a range of electoral matters
  • Share ideas across a broad range of topics
  • See what others are thinking and saying
  • Make a submission to the Panel

Submissions on the Constitution Conversation close on 1 July 2013 and can be made online, by post, or by email. Full details are available via the related links on this page.

Printed resources can be ordered by phoning toll free 0508 411 411.

To be part of the online discussions you can also visit the Panel’s Facebook page (see related links).
