3313 (2012). Julie Anne Genter to the Minister of Transport (04 May 2012): What are the most recent calculations of the expected costs of each individual section 1 to 9 of the Wellington Northern Corridor Road of National Significance?
Hon Gerry Brownlee (Minister of Transport) replied: The Wellington Northern Corridor Road of National Significance programme is made up of eight sections, not nine sections. The most updated cost estimate completed in 2012 forecasts the outturn cost for the Wellington Northern Corridor Road to be $2.3 billion to $2.7 billion. These compare with estimates made in 2009 of $2.1 billion to $2.4 billion.
