Alteration of vote on Criminal Investigations (Bodily Samples) Amendment Bill

By leave, agreed that the proxy vote cast on behalf of the Progressive Party on the first reading of the Criminal Investigations (Bodily Samples) Amendment Bill be disregarded as it was cast without entitlement.

5. Application to debate a matter of urgent public importance

The Speaker notified the House that Hon Pete Hodgson had indicated his desire to move (for the purpose of debating the decision of the Minister of Health to remove the Chairperson of the Otago District Health Board), That the House take note of a matter of urgent public importance.

The Speaker informed the House that he had declined the application.
