Submissions, advice and report to the House on the New Zealand Security Intelligence Service Amendment Bill

The closing date for submissions on the bill was 18 February 2011. The committee received and considered 23 submissions from interested groups and individuals and heard seven submissions in Wellington. These submissions were heard in private. To inform submitters of the issues the committee considered, it has publicly released some of the advice it received (and considered) from the New Zealand Security Intelligence Service and the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet.
