Public submissions are now being called for Overseas Investment Amendment Bill (No 3)

The Finance and Expenditure Committee is calling for submissions on the the Overseas Investment Amendment Bill (No 3), which was referred to the committee on Thursday, 14 May 2020. The purpose of this bill is to ensure that risks posed by foreign investment can be managed effectively while better supporting productive overseas investment by reducing the regulatory burden of the screening process.

What do you need to know?
- Submissions are publicly released and published to the Parliament website. Only your name or organisation’s name is required on a submission. Please keep your contact details separate, as if they are included on the submission they will become publicly available when the submission is released.
