Public submissions are now being called for Food (Continuation of Dietary Supplements Regulations) Amendment Bill

The closing date for submissions is Wednesday, 12 August 2020

This bill proposes to extend the expiry date pf the Dietary Supplements Regulations 1985 by 5 years, from 1 March 2021 to 1 March 2026. The aim of this bill is to maintain consumer access to New Zealand dietary supplements until a fit-for-purpose regulatory regime is expected to fully commence.

What do you need to know?

  • Submissions are publicly released and published to the Parliament website. Only your name or organisation’s name is required on a submission. Please keep your contact details separate, as if they are included on the submission they will become publicly available when the submission is released.
