New Zealand Bill of Rights (Declarations of Inconsistency) Amendment Bill

Public submissions are now being called for New Zealand Bill of Rights (Declarations of Inconsistency) Amendment Bill

The closing date for submissions is Tuesday, 11 August 2020

This bill would provide a mechanism for the Government and the House of Representatives to consider and respond to a declaration of inconsistency made under the New Zealand Bill of Rights Act 1990 or the Human Rights Act 1993.
