Public submissions are now being called for on the COVID-19 Public Health Response Amendment Bill (No 2)
The closing date for submissions is 11.59pm on Monday, 11 October 2021
This bill seeks to better reflect knowledge of how long the public health response to COVID-19 may be necessary, to address the reliance of MIQ on the general law and operational decisions, and to ensure that the empowering and enforcement provisions are fit-for-purpose to prevent and manage the risk of outbreak or spread of COVID-19.

What do you need to know?
- Submissions are publicly released and published to the Parliament website. Only your name or organisation’s name is required on a submission. Please keep your contact details separate, as if they are included on the submission they will become publicly available when the submission is released.
