Public servants and special interest groups
There are a range of educational programmes provided at Parliament for public servants, and other groups who want to learn about parliamentary processes.
If you're interested in booking a space on any of our courses, please contact us at email@example.com
Programmes for public servants
The Office of the Clerk's Education Team runs free courses for public servants. These courses are based at Parliament, and are a chance to learn from and network with experts from all over the parliamentary sector.
Policy to Legislation Seminar
Presented in collaboration with the Parliamentary Counsel Office, this half-day course offers public servants a walk-through of the process of developing a new law, starting with policy development and ending with the Royal Assent.
Resources for public servants
These resources are designed to help public servants in their role supporting Parliament.
Programmes for special interest groups
The Office of the Clerk provides seminars for groups of people with a particular need to learn about parliamentary processes, like tertiary students, news media, businesses and non-government organisations in regular contact with the House and select committees.
