Ngā komiti whiriwhiri

Changes to public access to select committee hearings are now in place to help limit the spread of COVID-19:

  • Members of the public are not permitted to observe select committee hearings in person, either to observe or provide evidence.
  • All witnesses and submitters are expected to provide evidence by video conference or teleconference only. Any exceptions to this must be approved by the Speaker of the House.
  • Committee hearings that would normally be open to the public continue to be accessible via the Parliament website and committee Facebook pages.
