Agencies at Parliament
The New Zealand Parliament is supported by a number of organisations and people. Take a look behind the scenes and learn more about your Parliament.

Office of the Clerk
The Office of the Clerk is a politically independent organisation, providing services to Parliament, as distinct from services to the Government, and providing services to members in their parliamentary roles rather than in their party or electorate capacities.
Parliamentary Service
Established in 1985, the Parliamentary Service is a team of dedicated people working in communities across Aotearoa and on the parliamentary precinct to provide MPs and other key customers with the services they need to perform their roles.
Offices of Parliament and Executive Agencies
There are several organisations within the Parliament sector that are separate from Parliament itself. Most of these organisations come under two categories: Offices of Parliament, and the Executive Agencies.Parliamentary Engagement
Parliamentary engagement makes it easier for people to understand, access, and take part in the work of Parliament. Through education programmes, digital platforms, public communications, and international partnerships, it helps build a more informed, connected, and inclusive democracy for everyone in Aotearoa New Zealand.
